Recap: Slam Dunk Contest at Vltava River

Part of BE PART OF IT was our biggest event we have ever held. In the middle of the Vltava, in the historical center of Prague with a view of the dominant feature of Prague Castle, we built a unique basketball court, where we brought the best dunkers from Central Europe by boat.

The best Polish dunker, Piotr Grabowski, competed on the court, whose design was an honor and a memory of Kobe Bryant. Grabowski's biggest competitor was Siberian native and basketball player Olomouc Roman Radovskii, with whom the Czech top competed in the form of two-time Czech champion of the domestic Slam Dunk Contest Daniel Zach, supplemented by Mathias Machálek, Matěj Bernáth and Ikounga-Djoh Ngatse.

The Slam Dunk Contest was part of the whole day, which started in the morning at our store The Streets at Martinská 2, Prague 1, where raffles about Air Jordan 1 Japan Metallic Silver and Air Jordan 1 Retro Court Purple from our own deadstock archive took place. The raffles also included the opportunity to win a Golden Ticket, which catapulted the winner to a VIP boat with the best view of the evening Slam Dunk Contest.Then we introduced our customers and fans to the main video BE PART OF IT, which underlines our long-standing idea of creating a community of people with common interests, a community that will be united by basketball, a love of sports and music.

In the end, the victory was taken by Piotr Grabowski, who collected almost the full number of points in three rounds, defeated Roman Radovský in the final duel and deservedly took prize money of € 2,000.
